WELCOME TO BTWHS ATHLETICS
HOW DO I BECOME ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ATHLETICS AT BOOKER T?
PREVIOUS TO PARTICIPATION IN ATHLETICS, BAND, CLUBS, OR STUDENT GROUPS AT BOOKER T. WASHINGTON HIGH SCHOOL, EACH PARTICIPANTS MUST:
1. Be enrolled at Booker T. Washington High School.
2. Complete the "2020-21 Athletic Clearance Link" in it's entirety. athleticclearance.com. Select "Washington (Pensacola) Section 1" when selecting a school. (See Link Box below)
-Any student wishing to purchase a BTWHS parking permit, athlete or not, will need to check "Parking Permit" when creating a profile within athleticclearance.com.
3. (ATHLETES ONLY) Complete three National Federation of High Schools certifications using the link below. Once completed, all certificates should be uploaded to the student athlete's profile within athleticclearance.com.

- Concussion in Sports
- Heat Related Illness
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- Locked out of your athleticclearance.com profile? Email AD Williams at jwilliams7@ecsdfl.us for help.
- Any non-traditional (home school, private school, non-member school) student wishing to participate in athletics at Booker T. Washington should contact the Escambia County School District Office of School Choice to have Booker T. listed as a "secondary school". Once that happens, contact the AD, Mr. Joe Williams, at jwilliams7@ecsdfl.us to complete all other required steps. All "non-traditional" students are required to have completed all athletic processes within ten (10) days of the beginning of each semester to be considered eligible.
