Please help us maintain accurate and timely service for your child, and ensure that we are able to contact you in the event of an emergency, by keeping your address and phone number current at your child's school.

    The first nine weeks grading period ends on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. Parents who are interested in changing their student’s current instructional learning model from Remote or Virtual Instruction to the Traditional Instruction model had until October 20, 2020 to complete the Intent to Return form. At this time, the form is closed. Virtual students will be assigned to a Virtual Lab to continue and complete their studies for the rest of the first semester.

     The second nine week grading period begins Wednesday, October 28, 2020. All students who are returning to traditional learning should report to school on Wednesday, October 28th

    Instructions for students in grade 9 (Freshmen):

    Freshman will report directly to the auditorium by 8:20 a.m. for a special message from their school counselor, Ms. Shumpert and greetings from the administration. Next, freshman students will be paired with a student leader to tour the school and locate his or her classes. Parents/guardians should reference the school district’s transportation site for bus pick up location and times. We will provide all students with a bus ticket in order to ride the bus home from school. All students receive free breakfast and lunch. As always, we highly encourage all students to wear masks or face coverings and practice social distancing. We look forward to seeing you in the auditorium at 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28th!

    Instructions for students in grades 10 - 12:

    Students should report to school no later than 8:20 a.m. Class starts at 8:25 a.m. Students are not allowed inside the building prior to 8:00 a.m.at the start of breakfast.  All students receive free breakfast and lunch. Parents/guardians should reference the school district’s transportation site for bus pick up location and times. We will provide all students with a bus ticket in order to ride the bus home from school. As always, we highly encourage all students to wear masks or face coverings and practice social distancing.     It is important to note that for all Traditional, Remote, and Virtual students, successful instruction is best accomplished with daily, full-time attendance, paired with strong parental support.

     

    Chromebook Information for Incoming Freshmen and New Students

    All incoming freshmen and new students will be issued a Chromebook at the start of the 2020/2021 school year.

    In order for a student to receive a Chromebook, his or her parents must complete the Chromebook Contract and view the Chromebook Contract film clip. Both items are linked below:

    2020 Fall Co-Enrolled (Night school) information

    The 2020 Fall Co-enrollment Session will be 8 weeks, beginning on October 12th. Night School will end on December 10th.

    Please note the change in start date due to Hurricane Sally. 

    All students must be enrolled for credit recovery by 4 p.m. on October 2nd.  

    Classes are 100% Remote Learning.

    The class hours are 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., 6 hours of instructions, with students able to take one course in the Fall session.

    Suite 360 is a new resource available to parents and students in ECSD. It assists parents and students in developing knowledge concerning social and emotional learning.
