Washington graduates at 4 pm on May 23,2007.

Attention Seniors! Project Graduation tickets will be on sale soon!

Tickets will be $20 if purchased by May 18th.
After May 18th, they will go to $25
We hope to see you there!!

Project Graduation will be held at The University of West Florida's Health, Leisure & Sports Complex.

Check in:

Check in will start that night at 10 pm at Washington High.

Transportation:

Students will be taken by bus to UWF from BTWHS.

They will return to the school the same way around 5-6 am on May 24th.

Activities:

There will be a Casino area, DJ, food court, volleyball, wall climbing, The Hypnotist Doc Holiday, the band, 3-D, and many more activities.


Tickets will go on sale in April. The cost at this point is about $25 per student.

PARENTS
We are still in need of chaperones and help with donations. We also will need help with decorating and clean-up.

 

Messages to Seniors:
This is a message from Washington High School to inform parents that all seniors received information about the senior grad night in Orlando. Senior grad night is scheduled for April 21 and 22, 2007. The information sheet given to seniors and must be signed by each student and returned so we will know which students plan to attend grad night.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
WEEK OF 3/26/2007

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc is offering a scholarship for minority students. The deadline to apply is 4/17, please see Ms. Willis for an application.

The Better Business Bureau Foundation is offering a Student Ethics Scholarship Program. The deadline to apply is 4/25, for additional information go to www.nwfl.bbb.org.

The Matt Langley Bell Courage Scholarship is available for students who have been involved in civic/volunteer involvement, show academic achievement, athletic participation, extracurricular/Student Government activities, quality of character, and absence of disciplinary record. The most heavily weighted factor will be achievement despite adversity or obstacles. Please see Ms. Willis for an application, the deadline to apply is 4/13.

The Department of Computer Science is sponsoring an Academic Excellence Scholarship Competition for high school seniors who plan on attending PJC. Please see Ms. Willis, Ms. Ponds, or Ms. McFarland for additional information.

The Pensacola Interstate Fair has several scholarship opportunities for students who have ever participated in the fair; exhibits or community service. Please see Ms. Willis for applications. The deadline to apply is 4/9.

The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc is offering a scholarship for students who plan on majoring in Education and have at least a 2.5 GPA. Please see Ms. Willis for applications.

Students who plan on attending FAMU in the fall and have at least a 3.2 GPA, a 19 ACT and a 900 SAT should see Ms. Willis for a scholarship opportunity.
