Congratulations to the boys & girls track teams for their wins in Tuesday’s tri-meet with Milton and PHS. First place finishes for the boys were the 3200 meter relay team, the 400 meter relay team, Xavier Brown in the 100 meter dash, Kenny Whitman in the mile, Brandon Lyles in the 300 meter hurdles, Eric Larson in the 800 meter and 3200 meter runs, and Jasper Simmons in the long jump. First place winners for the girls were as follows: Regis Stinson in 100 meter hurdles and 100 meter dash, Caitlin Hornbeck in the mile, the 400 meter relay team, Suenita Smith in the 300 meter hurdles, Caitlin Hornbeck in the 800 meter run, Kirsten Smith in the shot put, and Mary Fountain in the long jump.

Congratulations to the boys & girls track teams for their finishes in Saturday’s Justin Gatlin’s Invitational! The boys finished 3rd out of 20 teams and the girls finished 6th out of 18 teams. Demond Legg finished 3rd in 100 meter dash. Jonathan Stimmell finished 3rd in the 800 meter run. Eric Larson finished 2nd in the mile and 1st in the 2 mile. Kenny Whitman finished 3rd in the mile and 2 mile. For the girls, Regis Stinson finished 3rd in the triple jump. Caitlin Hornbeck finished 3rd in the mile. Regis Stinson was the high point scorer for the girls. Eric Larson was the high point for the guys.
