Circulation FAQs: • How many books can I check out? Up to 5 books may be checked out at a time for a 2-week period. Books can be renewed for another 2 weeks if there are no reserves on the material. • Where can I return books? Bring your books to the media center or return them to the drop boxes located by the bus ramp or in the atrium. • What if I forgot? Overdue fines are $.05/day. Students are responsible for all fines, as well as damaged or lost items. Circulation privileges are suspended until the student's record is clear. • Can I check out videos/DVDs? Sorry, only teachers can
check out audiovisual material. But in addition to books, students
can check out books on tape, FCAT practice CDs, and back issues
of magazines. • What do I have to do to check out things? Students must present a library card to check out material. The first card is free and is issued to freshmen during their English class' library orientation. Students who enroll after September or new upperclassmen must request a card in person. Replacement cards are $.50. • What if the library doesn't have what I need? We'll do our best to get
what you need through SUNLINK, a catalog of library holdings
in all Florida public schools. We're also happy to help you
check the PJC catalog or the public library catalog online. •Can I check the media center catalog from home? Yes, for all but the most current holdings. The media specialist can show you how to use SUNLINK to check what our media center owns.
