French I	1 Credit
This course intorduces students to the French language and it's culture; develops listening, speaking, and pronunciation skills; and fosters cross cultural understanding. Reading and writing skills are also included.
French II	1 Credit
This course reinforces the fundamental skills previously learned in French I. The course expands listening and oral skills with more emphasis on reading, writing and grammar and includes a survey of French-speaking people.
French III	1 Credit
This courses expands the skills previously learned in French II. The course includes vocabulary and conversational activities which include contemporary vocabulary from everyday life activites of French-speaking people. Acquisition of grammatical concepts is strengthened by analyzing reading selectins.
French IV	1 Credit
This course continues to expand the skills previously learned in French III. Students study more advanced language structures and idiomatic expressions, with emphasis on conversational skills. Additional vocabulary for practical purproses, including writing, is included. Reading selections are varied.
French V	1 Credit
This course continues to expand the skills previously acquired in French IV. Content develops communication skills through oral and written reports on literary cultural topics, current events, and personal experiences.
German I	1 Credit

German II	1 Credit

German III	1 Credit

German V	1 Credit
This course continues to expand the skills previously acquired in German IV. Content develops communication skills through oral and written reports on literary cultural topics, current events, and personal experiences.

Latin I	1 Credit
This course introduces fundamental Latin vocabulary and grammar and classical culture. The course includes English derivatives and vocabulary, basic grammatical structures, translations of short passages, classical heroes and legends, and selected aspects of Roman culture and history.
Latin II	1 Credit
This course provides an intensive study of Latin language, Roman history and culture. The course includes grammar and vocabulary for reading Latin authors, particularly Caesar. Reading is designed to increase understanding of sentence structures, English word-origin, and Roman history and customs.

Latin III	1 Credit
This course privides continued study of Latin language, Roman history and culture. The course includes review and expansion of Latin grammar; readings in prose; study of Roman civilizaton through its literature, empshasizing politics, history and mythology; and intensive derivative study.
Latin IV	1 Credit
This course provides study of Latin epic and lyric poetry in order to expand vocabulary, reinforce forms and structures and develop social, literary and historical awarness. Literary focus is on the Augustan Age with emphasis on Vergil.
Latin V	1 Credit
The purpose of this course is to provide Latin students with an opportunity to expand their knowlege of Roman literarture and culture, especially through the study of Roman Drama with an emphasis on the comedies of Plautus and Terence and the tragedies of Seneca.

Russian I	1 Credit
This course introduces students to the Russian language and its culture; developes listening, speaking and pronunciation skills; and fosters cross-cultural understanding. Reading and writing are also included.

Russian II	1 Credit
This course reinforces the fundamental skills previously learned in Russian I. The course expands listening and oral skills with more emphasis on reading, writing and grammar and includes a survey of Russian-speaking people.

Russian III	1 Credit

Spanish V	1 Credit
This course continues to expand the skills previously aquired in Spanish IV. The course stresses developing communication skills through oral and written reports on literary and cultural topics, current events, and personal experiences.

American Sign Language I	1 Credit
This course teaches hearing students basic conversational skills in American Sign Language (ASL) and awarness of various aspects of deafness. This course provides conversational vocabulary, grammatical features and principles of ASL, and audiological , educational, social, cultural and historical aspects of deafness.

American Sign Language II	1 Credit
This course further develops hearing students' knowlege of ASL. This course includes conversational skills, ASL syntax and principle and cultural aspects of the deaf community.

American Sign Language III	1 Credit
The purpose of this course is to prepare a hearing students, who as sucessfully completed ASL I and II, with informatioin and advanced skill development in ASL. This new information, an advanced skill will prepare the student to sit for the State of Florida Quality Assurance (QA) exam. The content shall include specialized vocabulary (medical, legal, education, etc.), grammatical features of ASL, receptive and expressive skill development.
