| The Florida Education Accountability Act of 1991 directs local school boards to establish an advisory council for each school in the district. The Booker T. Washington High School Advisory Council (SAC) was established for the purpose of providing a venue for interested parents, students, teachers, and community members to activityly participate in the development of education priorities, assessment of needs, and identification of resources that will enrich the education process at Booker T.
