Our Mission Statement:

The mission of Booker T. Washington High School is to provide a quality education in a safe

supportive environment so that all students can achieve success.


Student Leader Application - 2016 Summer Transition Camp


(Current BTWHS 9th, 10th, and 11th Graders only)

          Senior Exams:  

          Tues May 17- 5th and 6th (Seniors attend 1st - 4th period and take exam during 5th and 6th period)

          Wed May 18- 3rd and 4th  (Seniors attend 1st and 2nd, take exam during 3rd and 4th; dismissed after 4th)

            Thurs May 19-1st and 2nd  (Seniors take 1st and 2nd exam; leave campus after 2nd period)


         Regular Exam days are HALF days, all students will be released at 12:00 noon.

         Tuesday May 24-    1st period exam  - 8:30-10:10  and 2nd period  10:20-12:00

         Wednesday May 25-  3rd period exam- 8:30-10:10  and 4th period 10:20-12:00

         Thursday May 26th – 5th period exam- 8:30-10:10   and 6th period 10:20- 12:00

Positive Behavior Support (PBS) is a new way to think about behavior. PBS is based on understanding why problem behaviors occur. PBS provides a positive and effective alternative to the traditional methods of discipline.

Response to Intervention is a model designed by Dr. Rosie Cooper-Neary to assure that all students are receiving the resources and instruction necessary to reach their full academic and social potential.
