    Welcome, Wildcats!

    We are flying into the future this year at Booker T. Washington High School! The warning bell rings at 8:25 a.m. Students will report directly to Homeroom for the first week of school in order to receive information packets; data information sheets; and other important announcements. Homeroom rosters are posted around school, and teachers will be in the hallway to assist students as needed. It's going to be a great 2019/2020 school year!

    Wildcat day freshmen orientation - Monday, August 5 from 8:00 - 12:00

    All incoming freshmen and their parents/guardians are invited to attend our annual Wildcat Day. Invitation and call-out to follow. Freshmen will tour the school, learn about Wildcat culture, and take their photo for their school ID badge. We also have a special program planned for the parents! We will post more details as they become available.

    BTWHS Testing Information - Summer 2019

    Summer EOC tests will be administered on the following dates, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Students should report to the front lobby by 8:00 a.m:

    Monday, July 15, 2019

    Tuesday, July 16, 2019

    Wednesday, July 17, 2019

    If you missed an EOC in Algebra, Geometry, US History, and/or Biology, please contact your school counselor in order to register to take the exam. If you have additional questions, please contact Mrs. Amy Gordon, Assistant Principal at 850-475-5257 ext. 226.

    BTWHS Summer REading Challenge

    BTWHS English teachers and Innovation Specialist are collaborating to create a unique summer reading challenge! Wildcat students will find the summer reading requirements here.

    Here is the link to the reading list. Students should read one book to prepare for the 2019/2020 school year.

    Chromebook Information for Incoming Freshmen and New Students

    All incoming freshmen and new students will be issued a Chromebook at the start of the 2019/2020 school year. In order for a student to receive a Chromebook, his or her parents must complete the Chromebook Contract and view the Chromebook Contract film clip. Both items are linked below:

Thank you, Mrs. Wilson, for transforming our media center into an innovative and creative space where students can creatively express themselves while learning and engaging in literacy!
